In a recent meet-and-greet with customers, a young fan asked Neolectra, Inc.’s founder and CEO, Sammy Urtzal, about her thoughts on the future of self-driving cars.

Seeing the curiosity on the little girl’s face, Urtzal smiled and began to speak from her heart. “First of all, I just want to say that you remind me a lot of myself,” she said. “and that’s great that you’re so interested in this! To answer your question, I’m really excited about the future of self-driving cars. Most people look at it as something to be nervous about. I mean, who wouldn’t be scared putting their life and the lives of their loved ones in the hands of a car? But I really do believe the future is in self-driving cars. I mean, most car accidents happen because of human error. And companies will only start to implement self-driving cars once they test them rigorously. With the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning, who knows what’s possible? Does that answer your question?”

The girl, with an ear-to-ear grin, nodded and sat down. Urtzal’s answer was not only a testimony to her love of children, but it also might foreshadow the future of Neolectra. With a CEO that’s choosing to embrace this type of technology, it’s possible that the company will start to implement it somewhere along the road.
